The first of its kind, the Nightlife United Culture Awards is about uplifting extraordinary New Yorkers within the nightlife community who have made incredible contributions in one of these four categories: Sustainability, Social Justice, Safe Spaces, and The Good Neighbor Award.
Nominations are now closed. The winners will be announced at the inaugural Nightlife Culture Awards show on June 7th, 2022 where they’ll be awarded a $5,000 grant.

+ Who can qualify?
You qualify if you fit the criteria outlined above. Yes, you can be an artist, a performer, a host, a box office, venue owner, a dj… as long as your impact if felt in a positive way.
Can you nominate yourself?
Yes! You can nominate yourself or another qualifying nightlife worker.
+ What’s the process to be considered for the Nightlife Culture Awards?
Once someone is nominated, we will follow up with a submission request. This is where we hear all about the nightlife changemaker and their impact. NOTE: A nominee cannot be part of the final process without this submission. This is not a popularity contest and multiple nominations don’t improve your odds.
+ Who chooses the winners?
The Culture Awards was created by nightlife professionals for nightlife professionals. Our team exemplifies the breadth of what it means to love NYC and love nightlife. With representation from all demographics, our awards team brings range and depth that mimic the diversity of New York City itself.
